The annual Oregon Head Start Association Parent Leadership Conference allows parents from all corners of the state to improve their parenting and leadership skills. Topics include information to serve on boards including parliamentary procedure, advocating on behalf of children, financial literacy, health, and safety.
We would love for more parents to be able to attend our conference, but many families are unable to afford the registration fee. This year we are focusing our #GivingTuesday campaign on raising funds to allow all interested parents to attend our 2016 Parent Leadership Conference. It costs $125 for each participant to attend our three-day conference. This registration fee includes snacks, breakfast, and lunch in addition to our many engaging and informative sessions.
